Panelist Dies on TV Show

Jerome Irving Rodale was a health food enthusiast who was born in the late 1890’s.

He was an early proponent of organic farming and sustainable agriculture.

He founded Prevention magazine in 1950.  Jerome claimed that through healthy living he would live to 100.

He died while sitting on the panel of The Dick Cavett Show, at age 72.

He had suffered a heart attack.
